Transformative Entrepreneurship

From growing up in a rough area in Vancouver to spiritual development in Asia, Aren’s seen his world shift from the life on the edge in organized crime to meditation and yoga in the Himalayas where he learned to live a life of generosity, connection, and compassion.

Since starting his life over in Bali in 2016, he’s committed his life to service to all of launching a business every year. He’s the founder of Karma House Bali, Conscious Arts Tattoos, Full Reset Coaching and a founding partner in YogiLab, Lighthouse Bali, and Lotus House Vancouver.

From organised crime to spiritual entrepreneurship, Aren Bahia shares his journey of how to incorporate spiritual principles into business for personal growth and positive impact.

Can you tell us more about your childhood growing up in Vancouver, and how that shaped your journey to becoming an entrepreneur and coach?

I grew up in the rough side of town (at the time) East Vancouver, it was a common thing for people to be involved in the drug trade, organized crime, and hustling in any way shape or form. It wasn't long before I didn't want to be too broke to take a girl on a date, So, at 17 years old, I started hustling too.

How did your experiences with organized crime lead you to seek spiritual development in Asia, and what did you learn from that journey?

I had seen a lot of trauma and chaos in the drug game, I became addicted to drugs just to deal with the stress of being in a world of extortions, kidnappings, and murders. I knew I was meant for more in life than to be in that energetic field, I was meant to do more, I was meant to help people. I turned to spirituality to find myself, and what I found out was that I was meant for a life of growth, connection, and service.

Can you tell us more about your business ventures, such as Karma House Bali, Conscious Arts Tattoos, and Full Reset Coaching?

My first business was Conscious Arts Tattoo Shop, that supports a school for mentally disabled Balinese children. The second was Karma House Bali, the bigger tattoo shop with a restaurant and yoga/dance shala, we do different charity projects each year, usually with Bali Children's Project or Bali Street Mums.

After I built YogiLab with my friends, corona hit, and that's where I learned how to coach online in business, life, and spiritual and personal development. Coaching because my favourite thing to do is help people have their Full Reset, so they can transform their life and start a new business, brand, or just a new way of living.

As a speaker and coach, what is the main message or philosophy that you try to convey to your audience?

My main message is: Give. Connect. Inspire. A life of service saved my life, the ability to connect to ourselves enhances our ability to connect to the world, and I want to inspire others to transform their lives to do epic shit and help people while they do it.

What motivates you to continue launching new businesses, and what do you hope to achieve with them?

I just love doing dope shit with people I love, I want to be doing things that excite me, I love opening businesses that are FUN to own, that make people happy, and of course make money! I am working on a luxury car club business here in Vancouver called Sigma Motor Group with some friends, we have acquired 5 of my dream cars that I get to end up being paid to have as part of my dream garage... This all started when I started studying how to manipulate our reality with the power of our mind. Vroom Vroom Baby!

In what ways do you believe entrepreneurship and spirituality intersect, and how do you incorporate spiritual principles into your businesses?

Spirituality intersects with EVERY area of our life, there isn't anything we do that isn't spiritual. We are spiritual beings, having a human experience. Even that 3D shit we do, like our taxes, or going to the dentist, or having a coffee enema.... That's the divine cosmic creation energy having the enema. Business is no different, when we see the world as energy, and tune our own energy to a certain frequency, we can bring abundance into our life in ways we never thought we could.

"Give. Connect. Inspire. A life of service saved my life, the ability to connect to ourselves enhances our ability to connect to the world"

How do you hope your work as an entrepreneur and coach will impact the world, and what legacy do you hope to leave behind?

I want to have inspired people to transform their lives, and be weird. And LOVE being weird, be fully you, be inked out, and be in your heart. Live from the heart, play from the heart, and go all in on all in. Never stop growing, and build an epic huge life. Develop your mind, body, heart, and spirit, onwards and upwards homies.

What are your plans for the future, both in terms of personal growth and business ventures?

I want to continue to help people with my coaching at a higher level, impact more, and get on stage more speaking and telling my stories. Man, do I ever have crazy stories! I've moved back to the west now from Bali and I'm excited to grow things here in real estate, my personal brand, and getting my book done and published by the end of next year. Be on the lookout for it!
